Our take
I grabbed the DM-40Ds for my home DJ setup and they're impressive for the size. The 4-inch woofers punch above their weight, and the 2-way mode really helps with mixing clarity. Bluetooth is convenient for quick playback, and the front auxiliary input is handy. The touch controls are responsive, but I wish there was a subwoofer out for deeper bass. For desktop use, they're solid monitors, but don't expect room-filling sound. At $299, they're a decent value for portable monitors.
