The DDJ-REV5 is a step up from the REV7 with added stems control and a more compact layout. I love the dedicated knobs for isolating vocals or drums—it makes remixing live a breeze. The platters are responsive, and the crossfader is buttery smooth. However, no motorized platters might disappoint purists, and the price is still high at $1,189. The USB-C power is convenient, but you need a powerful laptop to handle stems processing. Overall, a fantastic controller for scratch DJs who want creative flexibility.
